FAQ

What time/day are my pickups?

Sorted pickups are every other week between 8am and 6pm on your specified collection day. Find out what day of the week you are by signing into your member portal. If you are also a member of Hudson Compost, pickups occur at the same time as your compost collection.

I'm not sure if my item is accepted by Sorted, what should I do?

Don't worry! Our team works to make sure every question about what we accept is answered with 24 hours on weekdays. Please email us at sorted@hudsoncompost.com, and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

I have more material than what fits in the correct category bag, what should I do?

Currently we cannot accept more than what fits in the respective Hard-To-Recycle bags in a single pickup. Please fill up the bag as much as you can and we will be back in two weeks to collect again!

My bin went missing, how do I get a new one?

We're so sorry your bin went missing! To order a new bin please sign into the member portal and order a free replacement bin on the shop, and any bags you might need to replace as well.

Where do I leave out my bin?

Please leave your bin out on or near the curb on collection day! If you are a senior and would like a doorstep pickup, please contact us at support@hudsoncompost.com.
